This plant is a nursery produced cultivar. This plant is on its own roots and has never been grafted. This plant grows best in part sun. Water the plant in the summer and keep the plant dry during the winter. The plant is prone to rot so water it sparingly especially when it’s cold. This plant produces multiple small finger size heads to about 1” tall in a lime green to dark green with pink/red centers. The pink/red centers can also monstrose and form smooth odd shaped buldges. It can also form crested heads that fan out and snake around. Sometimes a normal head can form, easily spotted by the presence of spines. Some clones are more prone to flower than others, flowering is at best random. Although flowering is guaranteed when a normal head forms.
