This plant is a hybrid created in nature (Southern Africa – Namibia). This hybrid has a questionable background. It's been agreed that one parent was C. juttae but there is disagreement as to the other parent. Some say it's not known, some say it's C. hardyi, either way, it's a great plant that forms huge tuberous roots very suitable for raising bonsai style as a show plant. Large green leaves from stout stems that crack and peel giving the appearance the plant is shedding its skin. The plant forms a real fat bulbous base that is raised for show. The flowers are a yellow/green.
