This plant is native to Picachos de Santa Clara, Vizcaino Peninsula, Baja California Sur, Mexico. This is a new species of Agave recently described in 2014. Similar to Agave vizcainoensis, but differs  by being solitary non-clustering, larger rosettes, more glaucous blue color and larger flowers. Rigid glaucous blue leaves with stout dark brown/red colored teeth (later becoming dark grey/black). The plant can grow to about 1.5-2.5ft tall at maturity. Grow this plant in full sun to partial shade. Flowers are yellow.
