This plant is native to Oaxaca and Puebla, Mexico. It is closely related to Agave potatorum and Agave seemanniana but differs in rosette leaf and flower structure. It seems possible that Agave nussaviorum is a natural hybrid between Agave potatorum and Agave seemanniana. The plant grows best in full sun to light shade. This plant is a slow grower that reaches a diameter of 14”-16” at maturity. Water the plant lightly in the summer but let it dry out during the winter. The flower color is yellow.
