This plant is native to central Colima, Mexico. This plant is one of 4 new species described in 2013 in the Marmoratae group. This plant is related to Agave gypsophyla. This is a clustering species with nice wavy leaf margins, slightly smaller rosettes, more rigid leaves and a more glaucous grey leaf color than gypsophyla. The plant can grow to about 1.5-2ft tall and about 2ft wide at maturity. Grow this plant in full sun to partial shade. Flowers are orange.
