Being a winter grower, this plant will become available again in Fall/Winter
This plants habitat is Namaqualand in western South Africa. This plant grows best in partial shade. The leaves on this plant have a curl at the ends and a rough texture like that of a cats tongue. This plant is a winter growing bulb and when the leaves start up in the fall that’s when the plant should be given regular water, providing it is kept warm enough (Above 40F). When in dormancy during the summer, keep very dry, but not totally dry. It still needs water every 2-3 weeks to keep the roots from completely drying up. The flower color is crème/yellow.
