This plant is native to Brazil, Bolivia and Paraguay. Water the plant in the summer but let it dry out during winter. The plant does best in part shade with lots of bright light. The flower is white or pink or a combo of both white & pink. The body can develop some very interesting color combinations, but needs good bright light to do this.
NOTE: The variety name rotundulum is an invalid/unaccepted name. However, this name is still in use among some collectors. This may have been a selected cultivar form among standard G. damsii plants.
