This plant is native to Namibia at only one known locality; Erongo Mountains in the Karibib district. This is probably the smallest of Lithops species. Will slowly offset to form a small cluster. This plant grows best in part shade. We water our Lithops very sparingly. The flower is yellow.
An important note about growing Lithops. Each year Lithops grow a new pair of leaves, when this new pair of leaves is visible this is a sign to STOP WATERING. The new pair of leaves use the old pair of leaves to feed from, if you water during this new leaf pair growth period, the chance of rotting the plants is very high. Once the old leaves have dried up and died off completely, you can resume watering.
