This plant is endemic to Hawaii on Molokini Island (Maui), Puʻukoaʻe Islet and Kamōhio Bay, Kahoʻolawe. This plant is rare in habitat and collections. This plant will branch from the base to form low growing clusters to 12” tall. This plant is best grown in full sun to partial shade with regular water spring through fall. Protect from cold and frost during winter and kept on the dry side. The flowers are lemon yellow and in small clusters.
