Rare Species -- Seed Grown
This plants habitat is south-central Madagascar. This plant is visually similar to Aloe conifera, although grows 2-3 times larger and has different flowers. This plant is a solitary nearly stemless Aloe, growing to about 3ft wide and about 2ft tall. The leaves have a nice green/purple/blue color with very dark red teeth along the edges. In full sun it takes on some nice purple tones. As a seedling, this plant can display several color tones as it matures. This plant can be grown in full sun to part shade with moderate water during the summer months and very little water in the winter. Flowers are a yellow/orange color.
